RESOPHONIC GUITARS (DOBRO)
As instruments with resonator from thin aluminium plate are the results of determination to enhance the sound of guitar. It was in twenties of 20th century. Dopyera brothers, Slovak origin, born near the town Trnava, initially wanted to enhance the sound of Hawaiian guitar, but their invention find also quite new enforcement. For sure, resophonic instruments belong to ones of loudest and most dynamic string thrum instruments.
